We spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and part of this time is often spent in front of the sink. We all know the dread of a dirty dish mound, clogged drain, or smelly sponge. I’m here to help make the time you spend in front of the sink a little easier. Read on to learn how to make sure your sink is in tip top shape now and in the future.

8 Tips for a Better Kitchen Sink:

  1. Avoid dish pile-up by creating a process for dealing with dishes after each meal. It may be a little painful to follow through on your “right after eating” dishes rule, but it’ll pay off every time you head to the sink to rinse an apple, wash your hands, or fill a glass of water.
  2. Sanitize your sink with a bleach soak every few weeks. Pour a cup of bleach in a plugged sink and fill it with hot water. Drain the sink once the water has cooled.
  3. Avoid clogs and odor by freshening up your drain once a week. Put a cup of baking soda down your sink drain. Then slowly pour ¼ cup of vinegar or lemon juice down the drain. Let the sink stand for 3 minutes, then rinse the drain thoroughly with hot water.
  4. Keep your sponge fresh by adopting the following routine: After using your sponge, rinse it thoroughly with hot water, squeeze out all excess liquid, apply a dollop of dish soap with water, squeeze out any excess water again, and then leave the sponge in a dry place until next use.
  5. Toss old scrubbers, towels, and other unused or old cleaners and supplies that are taking up space around your sink and wipe down the counter and backdrop behind the sink.
  6. Rinse utensils and dishes right away before grease hardens and clogs your drain.
  7. Organize your under-the-sink area by tossing old cleaning supplies and unused products, removing any items that don’t belong, and investing in a storage tray or container.
  8. Clean and shine your faucet once a week. Most faucets are made of chrome, which is really easy to clean and shine. Wipe the faucet with a paper towel dampened with water and dish soap. Then wipe the faucet clean with a paper towel wetted with water. Finally, buff the faucet with a tarry cloth to regain the metal’s original shine.

Maybe your kitchen could use a little more than an improved cleaning technique. If so, feel free to contact me today to learn how I can help you to have the kitchen and sink that you’ve been dreaming about!

It is known that money can make us disembarrass. But how to act if someone doesn't have cash? The only one way is to receive the credit loans or consolidation loan.
